: Moi Educational Center Hosts Spectacular Event
The much-anticipated PIPSSA Invitational Swimming Championship was held on the 1st and 2nd of February 2025 at Moi Educational Center, bringing together talented swimmers from various schools. The two-day event was filled with excitement, fierce competition, and outstanding performances, showcasing the incredible talent and dedication of the participants.
Outstanding Performances and Medal Tally
The championship saw remarkable achievements from our very own swimmers, who brought pride to our school with their stellar performances. Here are the highlights of our medalists:
- Faith Buchera emerged as one of the top performers of the championship, securing an impressive 6 gold medals, 2 silver medals, and 2 bronze medals. Her dominance in the pool was a sight to behold, and her hard work and determination paid off in spectacular fashion.
- Wangari Teresia also delivered a strong performance, earning 3 silver medals and 3 bronze medals. Her consistency and resilience were key to her success.
- Kamau Emanuel made his mark with 1 gold medal, 2 silver medals, and 2 bronze medals, showcasing his versatility across multiple events.
- Wangithi Clara added to the medal haul with 1 gold medal, 2 silver medals, and 1 bronze medal, demonstrating her skill and determination.
- Wairimu Evone and Makena Christine each secured 2 bronze medals, contributing to the team’s overall success.
- Nelima Venessa and Musembi Triza rounded off the medal tally with 1 bronze medal each, highlighting the depth of talent in our swimming team.
