Career Guidance and Counselling

Our students future and well being always comes first. We have in place departments of care, ensuring every student here receives the right care, guidance and resources to enable them to be the best they can be.

Career Guidance & Counselling

Our Career Guidance & Counselling Department is committed to helping students make informed decisions about their future. The ‘Careers Hub’ offers a welcoming space equipped with a meeting room, a mini workspace, and a television for webinars and virtual sessions with international institutions and guest speakers.

We conduct weekly Career Guidance sessions for whole year groups, covering topics such as identifying interests and strengths, goal setting, personal branding, study strategies, and university preparation. Students receive tailored guidance on personal statements, essay writing, subject selection, CV writing, career progression, and the evolving job market, supported by interest questionnaires, personality profiles, and study skill assessments.

Our department integrates Unifrog, a career exploration platform, to help students align their strengths and subjects with career paths, preparing them for university placements and scholarships. Faculty benefit from training on reference writing and career support tools. Additionally, we publish weekly articles in the school bulletin and send out ‘Careers Corner’ emails to keep students informed.

In collaboration with the Tertiary Department, we organise an annual ‘University Carousel’, a key event that provides a platform for national universities to showcase their academic programs and admissions requirements. We also host national and international university representatives, giving students firsthand insights into global education opportunities.

Through comprehensive resources, workshops, and personalised guidance, we equip students with the tools they need to navigate their academic and career journeys with confidence.
