The International Baccalaureate® (IB) Career-related Programme (CP)

WHO IS IBCP FOR?

The Career-related Programme is an international educational framework created especially for students who want to pursue career-related learning, and it blends the IB’s educational philosophies and vision into a one-of-a-kind curriculum.

We adapt to each student’s needs, circumstances, and histories according to the IBCP’s adaptable educational framework.

THE CORE OF IBCP

Through the CP core, students develop personal qualities and professional skills, as well as intellectual habits required for lifelong learning.

The CP core bridges the IB academic courses and the career-related study and provides students with a combination of academic and practical skills. Four interrelated components form the core.

Personal and Professional Skills

Students acquire the character traits, practical skills, and intellectual habits necessary for lifelong learning through the CP core.
The CP core provides students with a blend of academic and practical abilities by bridging the IB Academic courses and the career-related training.

Service Learning

Service learning is the process of developing knowledge and applying it to a real, unmet need in the community. In this research-based method, students frequently engage in service projects associated with prior Academic subject matter, applying knowledge, understandings, and values gained from these studies.

The Reflective Project

A comprehensive body of work completed over a long period of time and turned in toward the end of the CP is the reflective project. Students identify, examine, critically discuss, and assess an ethical dilemma resulting from their career-related studies through a Reflective Project.

Language Development

All students are given access to and exposure to a language program that will aid in and advance their comprehension of the larger world through language development. The IB's idea of an international education requires the capacity to communicate in multiple languages.
