At our Academy, learning extends far beyond the classroom walls. Through innovation, leadership, creativity, environmental stewardship, entrepreneurship, and sport, our students continue to demonstrate that excellence takes many forms. We are proud to celebrate the remarkable achievements recorded across our co-curricular programmes over the past few weeks.
Making an Impact Through Climate Innovation
Our students distinguished themselves at the Climate Innovation Challenge (CIC). Peninah Esther, Jacqline Wawira, and Philister Wawuda were awarded certificates of participation in recognition of their contribution to climate-focused solutions and dialogue. In another proud moment, Zeinab Mohamed served as a student judge during the challenge and was honoured for her contribution and leadership.
Wavumbuzi Entrepreneurship Challenge
The entrepreneurial journey continues through the ongoing Wavumbuzi Entrepreneurship Challenge, where students are recognised weekly for their dedication and performance. The following students earned branded merchandise for their outstanding participation during Weeks 1 and 2 of the competition:
Irene Wangui, Michelle Mwangi, Atibu Oronje, Joseph Otieno, Martha Ng’endo, Mitchelle Kamau, Laventa Mwende, Favour Gabriella, and Eugene Liayuka. In recognition of their exemplary performance thus far, Jaycrack and Joseph Otieno also received special hooded merchandise. With the competition running until July and weekly prizes still up for grabs, students are encouraged to continue participating enthusiastically.
Athletics Team Shines at PIPSSA Kenya Championships
On Saturday, 6th June 2026, our athletics team represented the Academy at the PIPSSA Kenya Athletics Championship held at the Moi International Sports Centre, Kasarani.
The girls’ team delivered an exceptional performance:
- Sylvia Bosibori won two silver medals in the 400m and 800m races.
- Joy Lochirma secured two bronze medals in the 400m and 800m races.
- Catherinah Tzarinah claimed gold in the 200m event.
- Aisha Hamaro won gold in the 100m and bronze in the 200m.
- Bahati Bogonko earned bronze in the 100m.
The relay teams also excelled:
- The Girls’ 4×400m Relay Team comprising Joy Lochirma, Prezzia Edalia, Bogonko Bahati, and Sylvia Bosibori won gold medals.
- The Girls’ 4×100m Relay Team consisting of Aisha Hamaro, Sylvia Bosibori, Fidelis Wainaina, and Tzarinah Catherinah secured silver medals.
The boys equally represented the Academy with distinction.
- Edwin Ropili delivered a phenomenal performance, winning three gold medals in the 100m, 400m, and 800m events.
- The Boys’ 4×100m Relay Team, featuring Kipkorir Bavian, Lolpuranai Elijah, and Edwin Ropili, earned bronze medals after a spirited performance against strong competition.
Overall, the team amassed an impressive 24 medals — 9 Gold, 6 Silver, and 9 Bronze.
Beyond the medals, our athletes exemplified discipline, resilience, determination, and sportsmanship throughout the championship.
