Welcome Note From the Executive Head of School

Welcome to the Mpesa Foundation Academy (MFA) . It is my great privilege to be a part of this truly unique school. This is a place of genuine transformation, where children from the most humble and challenging of circumstances learn that through determination, dedication, and a commitment to learning, that they can actually create their own destiny and influence the destiny of others.

At MFA, children representing all of Kenya’s counties form life-long friendship bonds by learning to understand and celebrate the differences, and similarities, in each other.

Our values-based curriculum challenges our students to take ownership of their lives and their learning and to grow a healthy, curious, and critically global cultural perspective. Upon graduation, our students can confidently take their place in any university and vocation. And we believe that they should remain citizens of both the local or global community, guided in their engagement with the world by a strong moral compass.

As an IB World School, we place great value in creating a safe, secure and nurturing school environment that grows, through world-class holistic education, young people of high integrity who are determined, curious, persistent and humble. 

In essence, at MFA a dedicated staff guide a new generation of innovative principled leaders to become change agents in Kenya and the world. Our goal is for students who are both successful and significant.
