The Academy’s sporting momentum continued this term as our students delivered impressive performances across multiple disciplines during the 2026 Kenya Secondary Schools Sports Association (KSSSA) Term Two Games. Football: Promising Performances on the Pitch
Both the boys’ and girls’ football teams represented the Academy with confidence and discipline.
- The boys’ football team opened their campaign with a victory against Jamhuri Academy, securing an important win in their opening fixture.
- The girls’ football team battled to a hard-fought 1-1 draw against Thika Garrison, showing composure and teamwork throughout the match.
Table Tennis: Determination Across the Board
The Academy’s table tennis players displayed resilience and competitive spirit through a demanding series of matches.
Boys
- Elvis Asande – Played 3 matches, winning 2 and losing 1.
- Jian Ngumi – Won all 3 matches in dominant fashion.
- Derrick Sire – Played 2 matches.
- Harrison Muchiri – Played 3 matches.
- Reagan Ogora – Won 1 out of 3 matches.
Girls
- Amina Abdi – Won all 3 of her matches.
- Rahab Jepchumba – Outstanding performance, winning all 4 matches played.
- Hopeann Murugi – Won 1 out of 3 matches.
- Precious Inyanji – Competed strongly in all 3 matches played.
The performances of Jian, Amina, and Rahab stood out as highlights, reflecting discipline and tactical excellence on the table.
Basketball: Unbeaten Campaigns
Both the boys’ and girls’ basketball teams enjoyed exceptional runs during the Term Two KSSSA Games. Demonstrating strong coordination and teamwork, both teams won all their matches to secure their positions in the competition. Their unbeaten performances underline the growing strength of basketball within the Academy.
Netball: Dominant Display
The girls’ netball team produced a commanding performance against QRS/TGR, securing a resounding 37–2 victory. Their sharp passing, defensive organization, and attacking precision made for one of the standout performances of the tournament.
Volleyball: Winning Momentum Continues
- The boys’ volleyball team defeated Jamhuri in straight sets, finishing the match 2–0.
- The girls’ volleyball team maintained a perfect run, winning all three matches played during the competition.
The teams demonstrated excellent communication, composure, and determination throughout their fixtures.
Lawn Tennis: Clean Sweep in the Group Stage
The Academy’s tennis team participated in the 2026 KSSSA Games on 23rd May, where they delivered exceptional performances in the group stage. Every player won all their matches and successfully advanced to the knockout stage scheduled for 30th May.
