BACHELOR OF EDUCATION SCIENCE
SECOND YEAR: KENYATTA UNIVERSITY

Kenyatta University recently held its Culture Week Festival centred around ‘Celebrating Our Rich Cultural Heritage, Diversity, and Development’. The festival was about appreciating talent, culture, and diversity, and it featured various activities like the Culture Week Run/Walk, 7-Aside soccer, cycling, cultural performances, and a lively pageantry contest.

Students showcased their artistic and cultural talents throughout the festival, making it a vibrant celebration of creativity. One of the standout moments was the pageantry contest to crown Mr Kenyatta University. Thomas Nestar, an MFA alumni, participated in the contest and managed to clinch the title after going through various stages, including preliminaries, quarter-finals, semi-finals, and finally, the grand finals.

Despite facing tough competition, Nestar emerged victorious, earning the prestigious title of Mr Kenyatta University for the 2023/2024 academic year. His win is a shining example of talent, hard work, and perseverance, and it inspires the entire MPESA Foundation Academy community.
