Our swimmers delivered an outstanding performance at the Aberdares Aquatics Developmental Swim Meet, bringing home multiple gold medals and podium finishes across various age categories.

The Academy’s team, competing against top clubs and schools in the region, showcased depth, discipline, and determination, firmly establishing itself as a powerhouse in the pool.

  • Kamau Emmanuel – Stormed to victory in several events, clocking 30.79s in the freestyle and a blistering 16.15s in the sprints, securing multiple gold medals.
  • Mitchelle Kamau – Dominated with wins in the 55.07s and 1:02.25s categories, showing class and consistency.
  • Christine Kimathi – Excelled in both sprints and endurance events, including a stellar 25.65s finish for gold and strong silver podiums.
  • Faith Buchera – A versatile force, winning across freestyle and breaststroke events, highlighted by a 46.24s victory.
  • Evone N. Wairimu – Shone with gold in the 21.60s sprint and strong silver finishes, adding valuable points for the team.
  • Chris Koome – Clinched gold with a sharp 18.80s and 15.93s, marking him as one to watch for the future.
  • Abdulrahman Ahmed – Secured podium finishes, including gold in 22.68s and silver in freestyle and relay categories.

The Academy’s swimmers not only collected medals but also demonstrated sportsmanship and team spirit throughout the meet. Competing against clubs such as Braeburn Swimming Club, Juja St. Peters, and Aberdares Aquatics, MPESA Foundation Academy emerged as one of the day’s top performers.

The sports department praised the swimmers’ achievements, noting that this performance reflects the Academy’s mission of holistic education: “Our athletes have shown that dedication and discipline in training translate to excellence in competition. This is only the beginning of even greater success.”
