The academy is honoured to host 5 teachers from Eltham Hill school (UK) for a period of one week. Eltham Hill School is a secondary school for girls and a mixed sixth form located in the Eltham area of the Royal Borough of Greenwich in London, England.
The five teachers are;
- Ade Barber – English Lead Practitioner
- Clare Key – Technology & Design
- Julia Knowles – PDM
- Navdeep Mand – Senior Vice Principal
- Diane Smethurst – School Lead Practitioner
During this time, the guests teachers will train the academy teachers on implementing learner centred teaching among other skills. To facilitate the training the students will have no classes on Monday 12 and Tuesday 13, February 2017 but will be involved in other activities within the school. From Wednesday 14, February the training sessions will continue within the classroom as learning resumes.
