A true leader has the confidence to stand a lone, the courage to make tough decisions and the passion to listen to the needs of others. He does not set out to be a leader but becomes one by the equality of his actions and the integrity of his intent, this was a quote by Douglas MacArthur. When Douglas wrote this quote, it was not an obvious indication that someone will obviously put it into action at the top echelon.
Les Baillie with no doubt has been the best leader of all time. I am not at my best in terms of leadership, but the little leadership skills I have are because I observed Les Baillie by looking at some of the decisions he often made which according to me were the best.
He has been with us since form one and we always consider him as a father because his caring nature is at the highest level. He is a man of no loquaciousness but his actions always represent him better. He always listens and is always in a position to support us and this in turn got him a lot of homage from the students.
Les is always encouraging us that it is through that we develop and raise others.
