The International Baccalaureate (IB) curriculum with MYP, DP and CP.
The M-PESA Foundation has made significant investments in existing educational institutions. The Academy is in keeping with our continued commitment to transforming lives in Kenya.
We invest in continuous research to ensure that we cover the academic concepts required in exciting and innovative ways. It is learner-centred, incorporating the use of ICT to deliver the curriculum. We also focus on entrepreneurship and leadership giving students time to learn outside the classroom, explore the arts and take part in sports. The school is an IB World School with an average class size of 24 students per class, from MYP4, MYP5, CP1 and DP1, and CP2 and DP2. The International Baccalaureate curriculum is 100% student-centred learning approach. This curriculum ignites passion in our 21st-century learners whereby they are equipped with problem-solving skills and are encouraged to find practical solutions to global problems/issues. The end results are learners who take thoughtful risks, engage in experiential learning, persist in problem-solving, embrace collaboration, and work through the creative process and are life-long learners by nature. The UONGOZI Centre offers a contemporary programme that supports and mentors our graduate students prior to their transition to tertiary institutions by enhancing their leadership potential.
